Sam Cox and the Comedy Gym
Sam has taught, performed and written stand-up comedy for over 20 years. Writing credits include the Tonight Show.
We all have a sense of humor! He will tell you that beside your own backyard, reading a newspaper daily will give you plenty of comedy material.
His main comedy love lies in teaching. He has taught workshops all over Texas , Canada , Germany , and the Netherlands . Sam knows the industry through and through and has worked with the greatest.

Cap City Comedy is located at 8120 Research Boulevard . The club is located on the southbound access road of Highway 183, one block before Lamar Blvd. --just behind Mervyn’s, NTB and Hobby Lobby.

North Bound 183: Exit Anderson Square --the first exit past I-35. Turn left at stop light. You’ll see Cap City on the corner, on the right.
South Bound 183: Exit Anderson Square --the first exit past Burnett Road. Proceed three traffic lights. You’ll see Cap City on the corner, on the right hand side.
